Ei603 Smoke Alarms The Ei603 is activated by the heat from a fire rather than
smoke. Therefore, it is ideal for kitchen installations where smoke alarms are
prone to easily trigger. The thermistor will trigger the alarm when a
temperature of 58 �C is reached.
This alarm is battery
powered. It contains a sealed in, tamper-proof lithium battery. This will last
for the full 10-year lifespan of the alarm. Furthermore, the alarm is not
powered until it is twisted onto the mounting base. This ensures that battery
power consumption during storage and prior to installation is avoided.
